XBox360 achievements

When I heard that a lot of members played on 360, it intrigued me. I have the 360 version (played on it while it was better than a computer I used to own), but it's only really to get on and unlock an achievement anymore after I had built my current computer.

Are any of you interested in achievements at all? And if so, I think it would be a good linkshell event to get the events completed that relate to the achievements - which would more or less (but probably not with the new level caps) benefit even those without a care for 360 or the achievements.

It would be something fun and exciting (and now probably easy!) to do together besides just Abyssea stuff!

Interesting… I personally am at 525/1250 achievement points for Xbox 360 atm myself.

Honestly at this point i dont even care about 360 achievements, but I would be lying If I just completed something big in the game that I dont visit the bard in my home nation to for him/her to tell me Achievement Unlocked!

So yeah i still care about 360 achievements for FFXI only.

All other games are whatever. If they pop they pop. They dont they dont.

I'm always down for anything that increases achievements w xbox or increases server rank. Just a side note w my dual boxing i have realized the benefits of being on pc. I am thinking of switching platforms. I know katoku already has an event server set up, would be nice if we could possibly switch to vent. At least for events…

Right. Even though achievements don't hold much value, the effort you've put into ffxi over the last few years certainly means something and the achievement 'checklist' (as I call it) is the perfect compliment to show what you've achieved in your adventures.

That said, and barring Lv75 job achievements, this is what I still need (sitting at 530/1250):

Mercenary Rank (40g) - Pretty low on completed Assaults

Dynamis - Tavnazia Interloper (30g) - Nobody goes for clears :(

Temenos Liberator (20g) - Nobody goes for Proto-Ultima :(

Gold ballistar (30g) - though I'm going to attempt something soon here to see if I can snag it.

Past Vana'diel Nation Quests (20g) - about halfway through Bastok and it's all I need.

Wings of the Goddess Missions (40g) - Obviously not available until the maintenance is over today, but I am up to date on missions to get it done asap!

And these are the ones I need to work on myself (again, barring Lv75)

Synthesis Skill 100 (50g) - Working on fishing. Almost turned in enough carp for Lu Shang's, then it'll be time to go to town!

Chocobo Whistle (5g) - haven't raised a chocobo yet.

VCS Registration Card (5g) - haven't raised a chocobo yet.

I use x360a.org to categorize and keep up with all my achievements. I'm something of a lazy completionist dreamer. Haha.

What all do you guys need?

I got my Gold Ballistar achievement last night just before Dynamis. It was actually very easy!

Since no one does Ballista anymore, getting ranked 1st in a match is super easy. points are based off of your petras scored, damage done, and death blows dealt. 6 members have to be registered in order for a match to start, but only one person needs to be there after that for the match to begin. Of course, you need 2 people there for the match to mean anything. I had a friend come naked and just take deaths while I /quarry for petras then killed him when I had 5 for gate breach status.

For anyone interested, it's a fairly easy achievement and I wouldn't mind coming out and registering and maybe even standing there to take deaths in the face for anyone wanting the achievement. ^^
